About Cherokee County Suboxone Clinic

Cherokee County Suboxone Clinic, located in MainStreet Family Urgent Care in Centre is now accepting Suboxone patients to continue their addiction treatment, close to home. Our program can be effective for individuals who are physically dependent on opiates such as Oxycontin, Percocet, Demerol, Codeine, and Morphine.

Suboxone® (buprenorphine and naloxone) is an FDA approved medication that is used to fight opioid or painkiller addiction. It works by suppressing withdrawal symptoms and drug cravings while blocking the effects of other opioids in your system for at least 24 hours. It is a preferred alternative to methadone as it does not cause the euphoria that is associated with opioid drugs which prevents abuse potential.

At Cherokee County Suboxone Clinic, you will receive expert care from our licensed providers who are available to you throughout the program. We will help you to reduce drug cravings which will allow you to return to a normal life. Your comprehensive treatment will take place in a doctor’s office setting where you will receive outpatient drug rehabilitation treatment.

Opioid dependence is a long-term medical condition, which means that some patients may require treatment for extended periods of time to prevent relapse and to stay on track with their recovery. While this can seem overwhelming, we can help keep you motivated, encouraged and excited about getting your life back.
