MainStreet Family Care offers convenient urgent care in Athens. We want to help you and your family heal and feel better, FAST! Our team of board-certified medical providers are ready to help you by treating your non-life-threatening illness and injury.

No appointment is needed, but we do recommend that you register online. This gives you the most relaxing wait experience, as you can wait from your home, office, or even your car. All patients are added to the same queue, including walk-ins and those who register online. Online registration opens 30 minutes before the clinic does.

Is MainStreet Family Care a walk-in clinic?

Yes, we are a walk-in clinic, but we do recommend registering online before you come into the urgent care center. This will save you time in the waiting room by allowing you to wait from the comfort of your home and will help our medical care team provide you with top-quality care.

Urgent care is a great option for extended hours and weekends, and at MainStreet Family Care, you don’t even have to wait for an appointment. Typically, an urgent care visit is quicker and cheaper than a typical emergency room visit. Our board-certified medical providers are able to help with illness, injury, and infections, and we also have on-site blood testing and access to some common medications. We want to help you heal and feel better, FAST!
What should I bring to my visit?

In order for our medical providers to provide care, we require a valid, government-issued form of identification. Patients should also bring proof of insurance, a payment method, a list of current medications and dosages, and emergency contact information.
