I took a COVID test at MainStreet – what do I do now?

No matter your result, if you are feeling sick, please follow the CDC’s guidelines to reduce the spread of respiratory sickness. View the guidelines here.

If your rapid COVID test was POSITIVE, please follow the CDC guidelines.

The guidelines may advise isolating for a certain amount of time. For guidelines on how to be as safe as possible, please follow the CDC guidelines. You should also isolate yourself for the recommended amount of time before being around others.

The provider may have also mentioned that there are prescription medications to treat COVID-19. Discuss treatment options with your provider and read through the Emergency Use Authorizations below for more information on these treatment methods.

If your rapid COVID test was NEGATIVE, but you are sick or waiting for PCR results, please follow the CDC guidelines.

The guidelines may advise quarantining for a certain amount of time, particularly if you had a known exposure to the virus. If your rapid COVID test was NEGATIVE, and you are not experiencing symptoms, please follow the CDC guidelines.

If you do not have symptoms or any known exposure, the guidelines likely do not require quarantine or isolation.
